This information
about apartments in Omaha, Nebraska will do one of
two things for you: either it will reinforce what
you already know about Omaha or you will learn some
tips for renting your apartment. Both are good
outcomes.
Apartments
in Omaha
If you are considering moving
to Nebraska, forget it is all I can tell you.
Although there are many
affordable apartments in Omaha, it simply is not
worth living in Nebraska. The apartments in
Lincoln, Nebraska are not much better.
Oh sure, the pictures that
they show you in the real estate brochure might
look quite appealing.
They show apartments in Omaha
Nebraska with manicured lawns of luscious green,
looking like the best bet to find comfort and a new
home.
What they do not show is what
surrounds the apartment. And what surrounds is,
well, Nebraska.
Here is how my sister puts it
when she talks about Nebraska. We live in Carolina,
but she still has memory of when her and her
husband checked out apartments in Omaha Nebraska to
live in together.
Whenever we are driving past
a dirt pile, she will start talking about it. You
see, besides the manicured apartments in Omaha
Nebraska, there is nothing in the state. Nothing
but dirt piles, punctuating a vast plain of flat
dirt. I am totally serious.
Check it out for yourself if
you do not believe me and are really in a good mood
to waste all of your time. Dirt piles, flat plains,
and nothing else. Except for people who are
stranded in their own little apartments in Omaha
The only reason I can even
think of to simply look at apartments in Omaha is
if you have a job offer in Nebraska, and even then
it sure better be a good job at that.
Do not consider living there
in any other case, believe me. Getting apartments
in Omaha is just not worth it. Sure, the economy
there is just starting to take off, and the cost of
living is low, so if you want to waste the next
several years of your life in Nebraska, be my
guest.
But getting rich, if it takes
ten years of your life to do and all those ten
years, you are stuck living in an apartment in
Omaha, is just not worth it.
You would do so much better
to go buy land up in Canada, maybe in Nova Scotia,
where at least there is some green. Living in your
apartments in Omaha Nebraska, the only green you
will see is on the lawns in your sub division.
The rest of the state is not
the best choice for a lifestyle.
Happy hunting!
