See a Remnant of Old Time Myrtle Beach

If you are a person who once loved to visit the Myrtle Beach Pavilion in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, you can experience the same entertainment at the Nostalgia Pavilion Park.

Come enjoy the rides for a day with your family, or plan a birthday party or group outing. Eat corn dogs, funnel cakes, and pizza, and play the games at the Midway. When you visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, you won't want to miss this great park!

The old Myrtle Beach Pavilion was located in downtown Myrtle Beach, just a block from the ocean. The last season it was open was 2006 before being dismantled and demolished. Some of the rides and special attractions were moved to the new park.

Special Features at the Theme Park

The famous Herschell-Spillman Carousel was relocated to the new park. This is an ornate and spectacular carousel with different hand-painted animals. It is one of 15 working Herschell-Spillman carousels in the United States. It debuted in Myrtle Beach in 1950 and is a colorful and impressive sight.

The magnificent Baden Band Organ was moved to the new park as well. This huge pipe organ was first displayed in Paris in 1900 and is still in excellent working condition. The organ features 98 keys and 400 pipes. It is decorated with elaborately carved figures that spin and dance to the music.

The Nostalgia Pavilion Park is located in the heart of Broadway at the Beach. This is a paradise for shopping, dining, and amusements. There are more than a hundred specialty shops, around twenty restaurants, three hotels, and many attractions. The attractions include The Nostalgia Pavilion Park, Ripley's Aquarium, IMAX Theater, NASCAR Speekpark, Broadway Cinema, boat rides, miniature golf, and much more!

Amusement Rides at the Park

At the Nostalgia Pavilion Park, there are rides for all ages. These are pay-per-ride activities so you can buy as many tickets as you need without an expensive all-day fee.

This is a great place to plan a child's birthday party with one fee for unlimited rides.

Several of the kiddie rides were moved from the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion to the new location. The Tea Cup Kiddie Ride, The Motorcycle Kiddie Ride, The Dune Buggy Kiddie Ride, The Pirate Ship Kiddie Ride, and The Boat Ride are exciting classics for children to enjoy.

The bigger rides include the Caterpillar Ride, which is one of the few that have canopies over the cars, The Pirate Ship Ride, and The Wave Spinner. These rides were all moved from the old Pavilion to the Nostalgia Pavilion Park. You will want to visit the blast-from-the-past gift shop and the Pavilion Museum, where Pavilion nostalgia is the theme. Then test your skills at the Midway games and other activities.

Plan Your Trip

The Nostalgia Pavilion Park provides a great atmosphere for group outings, where everyone can enjoy their favorite activities. You can make reservations and even arrange for catering for an event.

When you visit Myrtle Beach, be sure to stop by the Nostalgia Pavilion Park and enjoy the classic rides and fun activities that have entertained visitors for years. You and your family will have a wonderful experience and memories to cherish forever.
